Erase Text from Images Online

Erase text and its lighting effects in one click. AI repairs the background and restores the original texture.

How to easily erase text from an image?

1. Upload an image

Drag in the image with unwanted text, or just paste it — screenshots, photos, product shots all work.

2. Let AI erase every word

AI finds all the text by itself and clears it in one pass, rebuilding the background underneath. Touch up any spot with the erase or restore brush.

3. Compare and download

Hold to compare with the original, then download the result in high quality.

All gone in one pass — no boxing each one

AI finds every piece of text — any size, angle, or color — and erases it all at once. Strokes, shadows, and glows around the letters leave with them.

Only the text changes; the picture stays

The background under the letters is rebuilt from the surrounding texture; the rest of the image stays as it was. Missed a spot — brush more. Erased too much — bring it back with the restore brush.

FAQ

Will the removed area look obvious?

No. The area under the text is rebuilt from the surrounding texture and lighting rather than blurred over, so gradients and patterned backgrounds carry through with no visible patch.

Do I have to select each piece of text myself?

No. AI finds every piece of text on its own — tilted, colored, or with outlines and shadows — and clears it in one pass. If you want to keep some of it, use the brush to erase only the parts you choose.

Can it remove watermarks, captions, date stamps, and labels?

Yes. Date stamps on photos, stock watermarks, subtitles on video frames, and price tags or badges on product shots are all common uses.

What if it erases too much?

Swipe the restore brush over the spot and that part of the original image comes back — no need to re-upload.

What file formats are supported?

Common formats like JPG, PNG, JPEG, WEBP, and BMP are supported. You can also upload a PDF and edit its pages.
