How do I copy text from an image?

Why can I select text on a picture?
After OCR finds every word and its position, the tool overlays an invisible, real text layer at those exact spots. Your selection lands on that layer, so the image feels like a normal web page while the picture itself stays untouched.
Can I copy text from a picture on my phone?
Yes. Long-press the text in the image and drag the selection handles, just like selecting text anywhere else on your phone, then tap Copy. The “Copy all text” button works on mobile too.
Can I edit the text instead of copying it?
