How to convert an image to text?

How do I convert an image to text?

How accurate is the OCR?

It reads photos, screenshots, scans, tilted text, and stylized lettering. And since the image stays next to the output, with selectable words on the image itself, a misread has nowhere to hide.

Does it keep the formatting?

Line breaks and reading order carry over. Each visual line in the image becomes a line of output, so lists, receipts, and paragraphs come out readable.

Can I edit the text inside the image instead?

Yes. Click a line, choose Edit, and the image opens in our text editor with every word mapped. The replacement text takes on the original font, and the background is rebuilt behind it.
